Julio Guardado Julio focuses on investment banking services for semiconductor companies. He has thirty years of experience in high technology ranging from start-ups to multi-national firms. The last 12 years of his career has been in the semiconductor capital equipment industry where he was most recently he was CEO of Torrex, a VC-financed start-up which was acquired by Applied Materials. Prior to joining Torrex he was CEO of STEAG RTP Systems, a $150 million global company resulting from the merger of AST Elektronik and AG Associates, a NASDAQ traded company where he was President and COO. He has also held executive positions in the medical device and computer graphics peripheral industries and has served on several boards. Julio received an BS in Applied Science/Computer Science
from the University of California and an MBA from Claremont Graduate School’s
Peter Drucker Management Center. He has also served as
chairman of SEMI’s International Strategy Symposium
Committee, a member of SEMI’s International Trade Partners
Committee, and is an IEEE member. |
