Managing Director, Instream Partners
Chris founded Instream Partners in 2000 after more than 20 years in investment banking. He started at Dean Witter Reynolds then became headof the West Coast Financial Institutions Group at Drexel Burnham Lambert and subsequently became a co-founder and co-head of the corporate finance department at Jefferies & Company, Inc.. Chris has broad experience with both middle market and small-cap companies. At various points in his career, he has managed specialty groups for industrial growth, financial services, interactive entertainment, real estate and health care. Chris pioneered several structured finance/asset-backed products used by financial institutions to manage high-yield portfolios. He is currently one of 12 professionals at Instream Partners and Instream Capital.

Former President of the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns
Carmen Policy a graduate of Youngstown Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University and received a law degree from Georgetown University. He joined the 49ers front office in 1983 as vice president and legal counsel. Carmen served as President of the San Francisco 49ers for seven years. He helped guide the team and upgrade its talent pool with the quality of draft picks and significant free agents, resulting in an unprecedented fifth Super Bowl for the 49ers.
Named NFL Executive of the year in 1994 by both the Sporting News and Pro Football Weekly. Often recognized for his involvement in civic programs and humanitarian ventures. Played an active role in league relations, serving as a member of the NFL Finance Committee and the Committee on Oppotunities and Challenges.
Awards include one from the San Francisco Convention and Visitors bureau for significant contributions to business development and the Mayor's Fiscal Advisory Committee Award in recognition of managerial excellence.
